I started my own law firm in Queens out of which I have served as a public servant for over 25 years. My clients have hired me for cases ranging from criminal and civil disputes to real estate, bankruptcy, immigration, family and matrimonial.
I have also been a professor at LaGuardia Community College for over 18 years, where I created LaGuardia’s first immigration law course and pioneered the integration of computer applications into the college’s law courses.
I was previously counsel to a current NYS senator and a former NYC council member and worked as an administrative law judge for the NYC Environmental Control Board (OATH).
My volunteer efforts include dedicating my time to helping attorneys and their clients with cancelation of removal proceedings and teaching individuals English and American History required to lawfully gain citizenship. I am the first Asian Hispanic American court justice candidate in Queens County and am trilingual, speaking fluent Korean, Spanish, and English.
I am an Independent Democrat who campaigned door-to-door, acquiring community member signatures, to get on the ballot instead of being designated by a political party. I am endorsed by the National Latino Officers Association, The Honorable Martha Flores Vazquez, and the East Elmhurst Corona Democratic Club.
